What started as a way to regain her power after heartbreak turned into an unforgettable day of self-love, confidence, and rediscovering her beauty. Miss K has shot with me twice now, and both times she traveled all the way from West Branch for her boudoir session. Her journey into boudoir started with a very personal reason – after going through a heartbreaking experience, she wanted to do something that helped her reclaim her power. What began as a dream she had been holding onto for years became the step that helped her fall back in love with her body and her confidence.

Stepping Into the Experience

Like so many of my clients, Miss K arrived feeling both nervous and excited. We started with hair and makeup, and by the time we were done, the nerves had melted away. She shared, “You made me feel like we could be really close friends.” From there, the session flowed naturally – full of laughs, outfit changes, and those little moments where she got to see herself in a new light.

Playing With Style

One of her favorite parts of the day was exploring lingerie she hadn’t tried before from the client closet. She told me, “I love lingerie. I just never know what looks good on me, so trying on different things helped me explore new pieces.” By the end of it, she wasn’t just experimenting with looks, she was stepping into her confidence with each outfit.

Walking Away on a High

When we wrapped up, Miss K left the studio with a whole new perspective on herself. She said she was “on an extreme high” and felt “on top of the world.” That’s the kind of shift boudoir is meant to bring; seeing yourself as powerful, radiant, and worthy exactly as you are.

Falling in Love With Her Reflection

Miss K admitted she had never considered herself photogenic, but her images told a different story. “Overall, I just didn’t know I could look like that. It also helped me fall in love with my body again just as it is.” That’s the magic of boudoir. It’s not about changing who you are, it’s about revealing what’s been there all along.

In Her Own Words

Here’s what Miss K had to say about the entire experience:

Arielle is phenomenal in every way! I was nervous at first, but having my hair and makeup done with her helped so much – we talked the entire time, and by the end of it, I felt completely comfortable. My nerves were gone. Her work will make you say, “Holy crap, I didn’t know I could look like that!” – and not just once, but over and over again! Every woman deserves to experience this at least once in her life. I would do it again in a heartbeat – and most likely will! Thank you, Arielle, for this amazing experience!
