Miss C’s Story
Miss C is no stranger to the studio — this was actually her second boudoir experience with me. And this time, it was extra special. She came in for her session not long after having a baby, and her words sum it up perfectly:
“I had my photoshoot shortly after I had a baby and you can’t even tell. I’ve only seen the sneak peeks, but my husband and I already love them. I’m so glad I had that opportunity to have Arielle shoot these for me!!”
Deciding to Book
Boudoir had been on Miss C’s radar for a while. She told me, “I’ve always wanted to do one, it was just a matter of budgeting for it!” When she finally decided to go for it, she came in with a mix of nerves and excitement.
Like so many women, she wasn’t sure what to expect or how she’d do in front of the camera. But that’s the beauty of boudoir — you don’t have to come in knowing how to pose or what to do. That’s where I step in.
The Session
Miss C admitted she felt nervous at first:
“I had no idea what I was doing, but Arielle posed me and guided me the whole time. She showed me a couple photos in between, and not even edited, they looked great.”
One of her favorite parts of the entire day? The client closet.
She loved getting to try on different lingerie pieces and see how each one highlighted her body in a new way. “Honestly, all the lingerie in the client closet to choose from. It was fun trying everything on and seeing how different pieces looked.”
From there, we created a series of poses and moments that made her feel confident, sexy, and powerful.
After the Shoot
By the time we wrapped, Miss C walked out with her head high and her confidence lit up from the inside:
“Confident! Again, I think I’m going to have some amazing photos for my husband and I.”
And judging by her sneak peeks, she absolutely does.
Advice From Miss C
Her biggest encouragement to other women considering boudoir?
“Whether you’re insecure or not, if you want to do a boudoir shoot, definitely just go for it. It’s an amazing experience. And the photos are beautiful.”
Whether it’s your first shoot or your second (or third!), every boudoir experience is a chance to celebrate yourself exactly as you are. Miss C is proof that you don’t need to wait until you “feel ready.” Confidence is something we create together in the studio.
