Miss M’s Story

Miss M came into her boudoir session nervous, but left feeling free, confident, and empowered. From girl talk during hair and makeup to seeing her photos for the first time, she rediscovered a version of herself she thought was gone. Her story is proof that boudoir is about so much more than photos — it’s about learning to love yourself again.

When Miss M booked her session, it wasn’t just about photos, it was about reclaiming the parts of herself that felt lost after becoming a mom. Like so many women, she had been carrying doubts about her body, especially since having her daughter, and had dreamed about doing a boudoir shoot for years, finally taking the plunge she even added on Just the Sheets and Wet Skin to her session.

What finally convinced her to go for it? She said it was seeing that I shoot in my own bra and underwear. That vulnerability and transparency let her know she would be in a space free of judgment — just real women hyping each other up.

Before the Session

Miss M admitted she came in nervous and doubting herself. “I’ve wanted to do one for about five years now,” she shared, “but I was still questioning if I could really do it.”

Those first few minutes of hair and makeup ended up setting the tone for the entire day. Between the pampering and girl talk, her nerves started melting away, and by the time we started shooting, she said it felt like we had been best friends for years.

During the Session

Her favorite part? “Getting my hair and makeup done while enjoying girl talk!” she said. From the styling to the encouragement throughout, Miss M described the experience as “extremely comfortable, very welcoming, and like hanging out with a bestie.”

By the time she saw sneak peeks on the back of the camera, she began to see herself in a way she hadn’t in years.

After the Session

Leaving her session, Miss M described feeling free. “At ease. Like maybe it’s not that hard to love myself,” she said.

Her images have gone beyond just photos — her boyfriend keeps some on his truck dashboard. “As full-time parents, sexy time can become hard to accomplish. Having them there makes me less worried or anxious that he doesn’t want me anymore.”

Confidence Shift

The shoot gave Miss M something powerful: the ability to see herself through other people’s eyes. “It’s made me see myself in ways I never have. It’s the closest I think I’ll ever get to seeing myself the way others do. It significantly helped my confidence.”

Her Advice for Other Women

Her words are simple but strong:

“DO IT. BOOK THE SESSION. You’ll only regret it if you don’t.”

Miss M’s story is proof that boudoir is about more than pretty pictures — it’s about rediscovering yourself, giving your confidence a much-needed spark, and remembering that you are worthy of love exactly as you are.
