Let’s get one thing out of the way: boudoir photography is not just about looking sexy in lingerie.
It’s not just about poses or camera angles or “feeling spicy” for someone else.

Boudoir is about you.
It’s about the way you see yourself when the world gets quiet.
It’s about choosing to step into a version of you that maybe you’ve forgotten, hidden, or never even met until now.

When you book a boudoir session, you’re not just booking a photoshoot – you’re choosing yourself.

The Real Magic Happens Behind the Scenes

What most people don’t see is what unfolds before the shutter clicks.
They don’t see the quiet moments in the client closet where you try on lingerie that fits like it was made for your body.
They don’t see the nervous excitement as hair and makeup begins, or the way your reflection starts to soften as you start to recognize your own beauty again.
They don’t see the shift in your eyes when we start shooting – when the doubt fades and something stronger takes over.

Let me be loud and clear here:
You do not need to lose weight, tone up, get a tan, buy fancy lingerie, or be in a relationship to book a boudoir shoot.

My studio welcomes every body type, every background, every age, every chapter.
Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, healing from heartbreak, starting fresh, or just ready to finally do something for you – I see you. And I created this space for you.

You don’t need to “belong” to a specific kind of sexy to feel like you’re allowed to take up space in front of the camera.

This is My Why

I started Arielle Roth Boudoir because I’ve been there.
I know what it’s like to feel disconnected from your body.
To feel like you’re never enough – never thin enough, pretty enough, sexy enough, strong enough.
But I also know what it feels like to reclaim that power.

Photography helped me fall in love with myself again. It helped me hold space for the messy middle, the healing, the power beneath the surface.
Now, I get to turn that same lens on other women. And the honor of that is never lost on me.

What’s one thing you love most about your body today; no filter, no fluff?

I’ll go first: I have gained 20+ pounds in the last year (hey surgery recovery and heartbreak, I’m looking at you). I’ve been slowly getting back to the gym and I have been very thankful for a body that has retained it’s muscle memory. Because even though she’s a bit chunkier than I would like, I love that I have a very strong body even when it’s a smidge hidden.

Reminder about the bridal model call (PS you don’t actually need to a bride, as long as you don’t mind modeling as one)! 💍

I’d love to do some boudoir sessions with veils, bridal shoes, lingerie - any other details you’d like to include (groom’s ties, his whiskey bottle, you get the just).

These will still be full sessions - so you’ll get the standard 3 base outfits, hair & makeup, all your images, and then an additional outfit that is white for the bridal portion. These model call sessions will be $300, any additional add-ons will be $75 each.

Putting feelers out before I get too deep into possibly planning. I am thinking about doing a women’s only wellness retreat weekend (maybe this fall...will use this post to gauge interest and / or next summer). Right now I am considering Hocking Hills. There would be 8 spots available and attendees would come in on Thursday evening and we would all head out Monday Morning. The weekend would include guided meditations, some energy work, possibly reiki depending on where I’m at in my certification process, some self-love activities, and a group hike. Along with that everyone would get one indoor boudoir mini session and one outdoor boudoir mini session.

The cost per person would likely be somewhere between $2,000 and $2,500 which would cover the airbnb stay, all of your food, and all of the activities. A deposit would be required and then the remainder would be split into installments or a 50/50 structure, still undecided on that.

But before I get too heavy into planning things out, trying to see if it’s something that there is interest in and that people would actually book not just say they’re interested in because there would be a large cost associated for me.

I’m used to taking photos of friends and family off my iPhone. Never am I comfortable to be the photographed. I can honestly the moment you meet with Arielle you just feel an instant bond. The energy of her just gives off a save feel. Once my nerves died down.. I was ready to say “let’s go girls” it put you in the mood. Bad bish energy was awoken from within. I had so much fun doing a shoot, the way to told me how and where to place my hands and how pose without looking stiff. The experience was 10/10 and already booked another shoot and I’m beyond excited. Get out of your comfort zone and have fun, and let Arielle have the opportunity to capture it.
