Sam & Zack

Zack and Sam’s Bay City wedding was filled with love, laughter, and timeless moments along the waterfront and at their DoubleTree by Hilton Riverfront reception. From the anticipation of portraits along the docks with sailboats in the background, to sweet details like Sam’s classic bouquet of white roses and Zack’s boutonniere, every image tells the story of their day with elegance and authenticity.

The celebration continued with heartfelt ceremonies, toasts, and plenty of fun at the reception. Guests clapped and cheered as Zack and Sam shared their first dance, cut into their tiered cake adorned with flowers, and joined loved ones on the dance floor. Friends and family toasted with drinks, laughed through the photo booth, and enjoyed live music that kept the energy alive well into the night.

These wedding photos highlight the beauty of downtown Bay City, the charm of a DoubleTree by Hilton Riverfront reception, and the joyful atmosphere that surrounded Zack and Sam as they began their new chapter together.

Sam and Zack’s wedding was one of those days that just felt alive. Full of joy, grounded in family, and set right on the water at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bay City Riverfront, it had everything that makes Michigan weddings so special: a beautiful backdrop, heartfelt moments, and people who came ready to celebrate.

Sam got ready with her girls at The Avenue Hair Studio and Spa, slipping into her Avery Austin gown that was all elegance, simple, timeless, and completely her. The bridesmaids, in sage dresses from AZAZIE, were the perfect complement. Zack and his guys kept things classic with tuxes from Men’s Wearhouse, navy blue with just enough detail to stand out without being fussy.

The first look on the docks might have been my favorite part of the day. There was this quiet pause before the energy of the celebration really kicked off. Just the two of them, by the river, taking it all in. You could see the nerves melt into smiles and laughter, the kind of moment that tells you, yes, this is it.

Their ceremony was intimate, with the riverwalk as a backdrop and their closest people surrounding them. And once we moved inside to the reception space, Table 10 Designs had completely transformed the DoubleTree ballroom. From lush florals by G.T. Homestead to the elegant cake adorned with blooms, everything felt polished yet inviting.

When I say this group knew how to party, I mean it. Rusch Entertainment had the dance floor packed from the first song, and the energy never dipped. Guests raised their glasses, told stories that had everyone in tears and laughter, and danced until the lights came on. The photobooth by Petals & Props added even more fun, the kind where you see the prints later and laugh all over again.

Sam and Zack’s wedding was not about trends or perfection. It was about them. About celebrating their story with the people who matter most, in a city they love, along the water that is such a heartbeat of Bay City.

Starting in 2026, I’m making a few changes that will make your whole boudoir experience smoother, easier, and honestly…way more fun.

First, pricing goes up on January 1. If you already know you want to get in front of my camera, this is your heads up to grab your date now and lock in the current pricing before it changes. No surprises later.

Sessions are also shifting to a single start time. Every boudoir shoot will begin at 9 AM on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It gives you the best light, the best flow, and keeps your glam looking fresh.

And reveals are getting a glow-up. Instead of coming back on another day, you’ll head out for lunch or wander downtown for about an hour after your session, then swing back to the studio for your same-day reveal. We will go through your images together with light editing, no retouching, and pick your final favorites while the energy is still high.

I’m used to taking photos of friends and family off my iPhone. Never am I comfortable to be the photographed. I can honestly the moment you meet with Arielle you just feel an instant bond. The energy of her just gives off a save feel. Once my nerves died down.. I was ready to say “let’s go girls” it put you in the mood. Bad bish energy was awoken from within. I had so much fun doing a shoot, the way to told me how and where to place my hands and how pose without looking stiff.
